Octopus Club

New Zealand's Island Bay Marine Education Centre held an open day so the public could view thousands of baby octopuses before their release. 'The female octopus did an amazing job of looking after her eggs/young and this is one of the most successful octopus hatches ever seen. We are only able to keep the babies for a few days before releasing them into Island Bay,' said the Centre's staff.
