Heart attack at six metres

An English woman in Queensland was saved by a holidaymaking doctor and nurse after suffering a heart attack at six metres while scuba diving off the Whitsunday Islands. She had rapid attention and CPR from them on board the dive boat. Rescue doctor Fran Kinnear said the heart attack was a result of pressure changes while diving. The decompression injury resulted in a number of neurological effects to the patient including temporary blindness.
