Dolphins are losing out

Illegal feeding and interaction of dolphins in Cockburn Sound, Australia is leading to a large amount of dolphins dying. An independent review of wildlife feeding guidelines, announced by Environment Minister Judy Edwards, might lead to even more dolphin deaths. The dolphin population in Cockburn Sound experiences high levels of mortality, injury and biological stress from direct contact with humans and with the number of boats predicted to increase to 75,000 by 2021, the problem could get worse. People find it fun to feed animals, forgetting that they are wild animals and need to be left alone.
